So I'm using the Seoul P4 RED LED, and I picked up the pre-packed kit for it. Only problem is the 4AA battery pack will not fit inside the MHS RIBBED EXTENSION. Tried to wiggle it in[about .25"], realized it just was NOT going to fit with out hammering it in, and it broke while trying to remove it. Sigh.
So im thinking i'll go with two "2AAA" holders and run them in parallel for an output of 3V and 2,000mA[for roughly 2.5hrs run time.]. Am i correct that I will need to use a "1ohm, 2w" resistor?
Will it work in parallel, or do i need to hook it up in series? [and stick with the resistor that came with the 4AA setup, and settle for a horrible 1.25hrs.]
I dont know much about electronics, and after spending over 2 hours trying to find mention of this in the forums, im still confused if this will work...
To run them in parallel, I just connect the red wires with red wires, black wires with black wires, then continue soldering them with rest of circut by soldering the double red with the red wire in rest of circut, and double black wire with black wire of rest of circut?
Not going to lie, all the warnings he has up about Li-Ion kind of scares me a bit, so im trying to find alternative ways to power this bad boy.
I really tried finding the answers myself, but I think my forum search skills are weak. And I'd rather not attempt this and fry everything when i can ask and get confirmation it will work, or warned away if it will cause ruin.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
