Default My Home-Made Qui-Gon Jinn Lightsaber

    Introduction:

The Qui-Gon Jinn Lightsaber is my most favorite Lightsaber in Star Wars. FINALLY ! I can hold it in my hands.
    Here's how it looks [Dis-assembled]

The Lithium Battery and Speeker wrapped together.

The connecting port to the Battery.

The connecting port for the LED String [Blade]

The Connecting Port (Socket) is hidden and folded inside the emitter when the blade is detatched.

    The LED String

Connecting the Blade first must connect the socket (Connecting Port)

    Sweet Shots:
    The Pommel.

Pommel + rear end Lightsaber 'Deep' Grips

    Middle Lightsaber Grips

    The Choke.

    The Emitter.

Final Check... Ooops... the blade was NOT inserted all the way as it should be.. that's why there's a darkened segment from the emitter...

Master Jedi Roize [Me] and Master Sabersmith MAKOTO.

Special Thanks to Master Sabersmith MAKOTO, He supervised the making and Machining of this Sweet Lightsaber.

As a NOTE: Master MAKOTO does NOT sell Replica Lightsabers. But he'll help you make one for yourself. Under the condition that YOU ARE A "Die-Hard" Star Wars Fan IF you're a fan enough who'de do anything to build a Lightsaber. And so I showed him my previously built Lightsabers as my proof.. and as posted in this Forum under Gallery: ['My Stunt Lightsaber' by Valroize1968.]

Convinced as he was.. He then decided to help me on my Lightsaber Project Gaining access to the use of Lathe Machine [one of The advantage of his daytime work gives him access to them huge machines for us to play with on wekends.] That made it possible for me to make this Faithful Qui-Gon Jinn Lightsaber Replica.. as you can see.. it is ONLY 90% and less screen acurate (except the Handle Grips...which is not all the way deep (for we Needed room for Sound Card [Makoto makes them himself.] wirings, battery, Speeker, activation button and etc.)

"~Finding him is the will of the Force, I have no doubt about that..." I was really surprised to know he resides in New Taipei District, Taiwan and also a Taiwanese like myself... He's home base is an hour and a half bike ride (Bike Speeder) and/or one hour car drive (Jedi Star Fighter) from my residence.

Hey...I've always wanted to create a replica of this particular lightsaber, and your model looks excellent. I'm only looking to create a replica..lI don't intend to attempt the lighting, sound, or adding a blade, but if you could help me out, I would definitely appreciate it. Anything you could provide that would help would be great...measurements, materials I'll need, time required...anything like that.
    Thank you!

ok so i know i'm a year late coming into this post, but at least on my computer none of the pictures show up...what did you use for the main portion of the hilt for recreating this saber?
