Lots of experimentation. Each board and battery solution is different, and it depends on what your setup is. I can tell you what I used, but it won't be the sane for you. Just experiment with different resisitors and find the color that works best for you.

I replaced the Lamptron switch with a blue dot AV latching, and all works great. That Lamptron was a bust (still don't know what happened there)

Great looking Bane, I also read his books and am a fan. Looks great, weathering is done to perfection and who could argue with a CFV5 and the great shade of purple/violet. It just oozes darkside and you could tell it needs a sith lord with Bane's stature to wield it. Awesome, well done bro.
