    Default An answer for newbs (noobs)

    ORIGINAL Q: If the lumens are lower, is the LED brighter?

    ANSWER: the higher the number of lumens, the brighter the light. More is better.

    Keep in mind that certain colors of light are easier for the eyes to see than others. 100lumens of Green Light will appear brighter than 100 lumens of red or UV light.

    the closer to yellow light you get, the better able to see it your eyes are. evolving under the rays of a yellow sun have made our eyes most sensitive to that band of light, the sensitivity tapering off as you get further from it.

    You are both right. It's actually a yellowish-green.

    So I'm running a MR/Hasbro anikan rots board on 7.4 lithium ion pack. Should I get a p4 or rebel star red? Don't know if it really matters, I'm just wondering wich would look brighter? I have a lux 3 red/orange and its great, but I want this saber to be more red without loosing brightness. Never used any other reds other than the red/orange so just looking for suggestions thanks
