    Default problems with converted mr anakin rots

    Ok so I popped the buttons off both sides of my Anakin and tightened the screws underneath to try and make my blade holder a little more sturdy. Didn't work, so I completely unscrewed them to see what was going on. Needless to say i think i striped out the threads in the drill hole on one side and the screw wont tighten it just basically sits in the drill hole. I am assuming I am going to need to buy a new Anakin conversion kit and replace it. Or are there any other options i might have?

    I have used JB-Weld to fill a stripped out screw hole in other projects, with decent results. Not sure how well it would hold up in a dueling saber, but it's worth a try.

    You may be able to re-tap the hole with a bigger thread. I have gone up to the 10-32 thread on the blade holder screw for my Anakin, to make it more, "duelable"
