Wow, Luke. Great make of the Windu saber. This is my favorite from you so far!

You made that. That thing is freakin awesome. First rate work. Worthy representation of the the best weapon of the baddest jedi.
You guys really are too kind. It's not quite so perfect as it looks.... though I could say that was partly because I was in a time crunch to have it finished by Christmas, and partly because it's not easy to get perfect right angles with a dremmel...
I'm not a machinist... this is only the second saber I've completely machined.
If you just meant "professional" quality-wise, I guess I'll accept the compliment...
I do have to give credit to infa008 for his machining advise and to Fender for his trans gold pc advise though.
And to answer your question it was hand machined. CNC is a bit out of my price range.

okay well proffesional quality. and very tricky by the looks of it. we should share tips. ill PM you later. what did you use to mill all of it anyway? carbide or HSS endmills?
I wasn't kidding about the dremmel you know...
I still haven't bought new end mills after breaking mine last year.

Hey, you finally finished it!
Great job, I'll bet even Samuel Jackson would be jealous of this one.
Got a Question? There's a thread for that...

very nice, i too, also like how you made your blade remove-able!
REALLY nice saber, especially considering it's your second custom-machined one. What tools did you have access to, aside from the ever-versatile Dremel?

OMG...that is so freak'n bright! Nice job.
Kinda curious why the covertec clippy thing sticks out so far. Is it so it hangs right despite the grip?
