You might want to consider leaving it on. You can actually make a nice pommel using the threaded end combined with a chrome plug. You can make it look less like plumbing by adding section of 1.5" sink tube over the flared section.



Personally I think it would make your saber look more balanced, too.

Actually I have some parts from the Joe Jedi kit I think I can make fit.

I do have one question, why was my thread merged with this thread? As a new member am I not allow to have a WIP thread like the other members?

Do you have the parts? do you have build pics starting your work..and detailing any progress?

If not its a render made in Paint or one of the builders...etc and it belongs here, IMHO.

Yes its a work in progress I just need to trim up some stuff and I can post a Picture

My concept is in my signature. I'm still debating on the painted PVC shroud, and my reasons are twofold. I don't like the design that I have, and just it's general presence.

I agree, I like the second one. The good thing about simple hilts it that they're really comfortable to use.

I agree about the 2nd one. I think that pommel gives it a little more flair on the back end.
