Five? That's weird, why would you do that? It's only using the 3 that are in series, then. Since the 6 battery holders work as 2 sets of 3, not all 6 together.

I didn't read Yellowman's post correctly, I think I thought he was talking about using 6V and the 4AA battery pack.

It still wouldn't give him 6V to use 4 batteries in the 6 battery holder.
