Thanks all, I have had the idea to build a polished brass and aluminum Qui-Gon for some time.
One thing I think you should change, the red knurled button to a brass or aluminium because to me the red stands out too much.

PS - I wanted the saber to have the same red power switch as the original so as to keep it specifically a Qui-Gon, but thanks for the input
