    Default Prequel Era Padawan Saber

    Hey everyone!

This is a saber that we took great joy in building. It is for a little boy named Ronnie. Like a lot of little kids Ronnie pronounces lightsaber, "life saver". we decided that we wanted to go for a prequel era feel, so we went with a 8" hilt in a clanish design and satin finish, with the lathed grooves in contrast. The red push button helps to finish the look of the age. We used a Hasbro "economy" board, and it is igniting a Seoul P4 blue through a thinwall 28" blade with 6ft of film. The accent LED below the button is a flasher that switches from red to blue on each flash. Very cool. We really liked doing this saber, cause we like making kids happy and we hope that Ronnie gets many years of enjoyment out of it.

Very nice saber! It is good to know you can do simple designs as well as supercomplex ones!

    Fantastic work dude!!!

See? You can do a reasonably simple one without making the awe-factor any less!!!

The contrast between the frosted and polished parts really bring it home. Excellent idea! Very unique.
