Foot hills of which mountains? There's more than one mountain range in the state. I live in Calfornia, too.

Very strong and superior to traditional soldering. You just slide on a sleeve, line up the wires and heat each end with a heat gun, then heat the middle and the solder band melts. The connections are water and air tight.

However, you will still need to solder the LED in the traditional way.

Just an option. Just make sure you have the config. you want before applying the solder sleeves as they are hard to remove. Trust me, I used to have to rework other's mistakes before we shipped out the wiring harnesses.
Yeah, the link you show, pricetag of $32... I'm thinking that's a bit of a high budget item for a lightsaber

The $32.50 is for a quantity of 100, which makes each solder sleeve around $0.32 - $0.33. We all pay more for a foot of heat shrink tubing than that. Anyway, it's just an option. It would be good for Rhyen Skytracker's Redneck Fishing Saber or Lord Maul's Aqua waterproof saber.
Yoda always said there would be days like this.

    Really?
Cause when I chose a quantity of 5, it changed the price higher, not lower than $32.50

When you changed the quantity to five it turned actualy to five hundred. Just read the description under the product.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

    first question...

should I go with the buck puck?
if its a little easier willl there also be a tutorial showing how to solder those as well...
and no i havnt looked at tutorials on building a lightsaber yet, just been double triple checking the parts needed to build one... then I'll check tutorials while I wait for my parts to arrive... unless otherwise stated by the people helping me in these forums.

    next...

I should probably look at the tutorials because I was just gonna ask about room for the belt clip and blade holder screw... I'll need to leave room for those to be drilled right?

    link to my build

ok kinda in a rush gotta run to town so I can start working on making the shirts I'm gonna wear at comic con... so forgive any small mistakes I make have forgotten or made... I believe this is everything..
I'm pretty sure all parts would fit together as well...

alright, again thank you all very much for your patience and help!

if you look at the image of my MHS saber build, I have the clip right near the blade holder.. would it be possible to have it closer to the pommel and how would I need to do that...?
