    Default hello every one

hi im a new comer to all this lightsaber building but i havent ordered any parts yet b/c im still doing my home work. i'v read at least 20 threads on how to build a lightsaber and its elc. but i am still trying to create my own design for the saber itself. i want to make a saber that reflects my personality and the hard work that was put into it. so if you have advice for me that would help so much

    thx, cody

    Welcome.

The only advice I have for you at this time is do to lots more reading, 20 threads isn't much with all the info contained here.

Read more of the MR/Hasbro FX conversion threads and that should show you how to use your sound boards.

Also, check out LDM's threads in the Gallery for lots of his in-build pics to see how he's used FX sound boards.

And read the threads in his signature, if you haven't already, and if you have, read them again.

    Welcome cody.

This is a great hobby to become involved in, aside from designing and building some really cool stuff, it's actually a really good learning experiance and here you have some very talented people to guide and instruct you.

First and formost as J-Lo has said read, but read the tutorials most as these give more insight than looking at finished projects.

May the force be....... Wait that's too easy.

May the schwartz be with you.

Yes as the others have said read everything and anything in the forums. I have built one saber so far and have 2 more in the works and every question I have come up with is answered there, I of course made the new guy mistake and asked a dumb question but I got a great answer. And by the way, some things don't come up easily in the searches cause it throws out 3 letter and less words.
