    Smile Overlay Templates

Does anyone have any Overlay Templates the could give me? I have a few I have gotten online, but I want something kinda curvy. I am trying to build up a library of templates. I have seen several saber here that have awesome overlays and I wan wondering if you would be willing to give them up? Thanks in advance.

Lol that one is a beast. I remember Do-Clo saying somewhere that he uses blue painters tape on his sink tubes. I've done this myself. No to tiny amount of sticky residue. And you can freehand right on the tape.

We line up and tape graph paper to the sinktube, draw a top center line and then draw half of the overlays design on the paper. Then take it off fold it on the center line and cut the shape out, perfetly symetrical. Then we line up another piece of graph paper on the sink tube and line up the center line from the template and tape it down. I usually trace the outer lines so I can see them better while cutting.

Thanks for the tip Fender. That is what I do to cut the legnth of overlay straight. I tape graph paper on it and just cut along one line. I will draw the design with the graph paper taped on the tube. I usually just drew the design and then put it on the tube, it is hard to tell exactlly what it will look like until you get it on the tube that way.
