It was some fluted tubing I had gotten a couple years ago. I have no idea where to get more =/

    I really like the stuff.

*edit* haha, Lord Maul already covered it. It's really nice stuff...it'd be great if say, Tim could source some for the store. It makes a great alternative to traditional windshield-wiper rubber grips.

    But that's Lord Maul!

When Corbin and Tim were partners they tried to find a source for the tubing but couldn't. At least, that's how I remember it. That was a year ago though

Haha, oops my bad! I corrected it xD
    Sorry Lord Maul!

And that's really too bad about the tubing. It is really really really awesome stuff. A bit of a pain to cut and polish cuz of the grooves, but it's definitely worth it.

I think green would look better with that saber but whatever, it does look awsome.

Very nice! I'm a big fan of layers and differing textures. That fluted tubing is great!

I actually think that the saber would look great with an amber blade. For some reason, I like amber blades with sabers that have a little brass accenting on them. But my friend favors blue lightsabers, hence the royal blue k2.

And I love layers too. My personal saber in my siggy is proof of that xD. They're a great way to add detail without a bunch of cumbersome boxes and knobs everywhere.

If I'm correct that fluted tubing is from a pool vacuum pole. I don't know any specs, except it's aluminum and around 1" OD, I've got one in my yard that I'll check as soon as the temp. here goes above Hoth!
Anyway, if someone is near a pool supply maybe they could take a look.

with those two screws placed like that and with that groove like that, it makes the hilt look like it has a nice huge smile on it!
