    ok my question is does Tim have a limit on what you can have done to your lightsabers as far a customizing goes?

    well what i want is a grafix clamp customized so i can use it as a on/of swich like obi wan's fx lightsaber.

    Uh... It's not that hard to do yourself. Why not try buying a clamp and the needed accessories to begin your venture, and actually TRYING first...

    ok thanks for the replys and do you guys have any ideas on what to practice on because i dont want to buy a clamp every time i mess up and im not sure what i can connect the wire to so i can turn it on any ideas

    Well if you look at how a Graflex Clamp goes together. It should be pretty straight forward.

    A sub mini slider switch will fit if you trim some inside the clamping bracket.

    Just use care wen making your cuts, and make sure your switch is well insulated from touching bare metal.

    Then you just need to make a channel in the card on the underside and make sure it lines up with the switch lever.

    The clamp has two side bars on it too, so that will help cover any stray cuts.

    This has been done before by people right here on the forums. There's a GREAT search feature here. If I may be so bold; May I suggst you use it?

    ok i understand that but if i did that wouldn't i have to slide the card instead of pushing it to turn on the lightsaber

    no you cut a slot for the switch lever to move in, and either put something over it that moves or leave it bare.

    one more question when you say mini slider swich do you mean a DPDT swich?
