Default The saber formery known as...

This was my Corran Horn saber. After two and a half weeks of ebay, it didn't sell, so I thought I was keeping in. Until a friend offered me some ideas along with an offer (feel free to ID yourself).

Anyway, I was planning on putting some lights and blingy things on it, but once the offer was out, it became his project. After discussing a few ideas, I tried making slots for 5mm LEDs in the 1.25" tube... (where's a Mr.Yuk when you need one?) - it didn't work out. So I cut another section of 1.25" (a little longer this time) and sent him some more idea pics before I painted it. Well, it actually looked pretty cool like that so we agreed to leave it. I was able to find a few 3mm LEDs around my place and they didn't create near as much arse pain as the bigger ones. So, this is what the final product looks like...

    Specs:
    - Hilt parts
    -- MHS Blade Holder #5
    -- MHS Ribbed section
    -- Cut down MHS section
    -- 1.25" aluminium pipe
    -- Custom Pommel
-- Judco Latching (mom, push on/push off) w/brass bezel
-- Mini tactile push-button (long plunger filed down)
    - Guts
    -- CF V4 (original load)
    -- Seoul P4 white (run @ 1A)
    -- Rechargeable Li-Ion pack 7.4V (14500 x2)
-- 5mm RGB LED (internal fade curcuit) - PPO
    -- 4x 3mm LEDs for bar graph (1 green, 3 red) - LED1-4

Clear coat epoxy baked on - very hard finish!

    Okay here's the pics:

    Thumbs up

I am the lucky new owner of this tasty saber delight! All I can say is thank you Eastern for a totally awesome saber that is going to bring much joy to my kids and my kids in Children's Church. Josh is great to work with and has gone beyond the extra little things to make a great saber! Kudos to you my friend! Can't wait til it gets here!

Really good looking end result Eastern, I love the LED action on top.
Congrats on getting a really sharp piece of hardware Cal2kidz. The kids are gonna go nuts when they see this. I hope you're ready to make them all sabres too.
Yes, I spell it sabre. I just like it that way.

I know what you mean. I've got the HCM Pro deathscythe and that little guy rocks. He's on my shelf in a mid leap&swing thanks to his included stand. I've been putting together the kits too.

Everything anime keeps draining my time and money resources, doh!

The saber here is just a thing of beauty. I need to get back to saving up for something this special.

Those are the LED1-4. On a CF you can program 4 accent LEDs to blink however you want using the LED.txt

yeah i just ordered Heavyarms instead of investing in a new blade which i so desprately need too many cracks and a scratches in my current one...over 2 years old and been through like 100+ sessions of dueling.

Also i have one perfect saber I call my own just finished it too and i want to build a new one just too much other stuff i want.
