Hi There,

I will repairing two ultrasabers, due a lack of saber smiths in hong kong.
Now i want to setup my stunt sabers in this order:

re-purpose the 6W LED units from Ultrasabers.
Completely rewire the lot, by using a single 3.7 LIPO battery holder: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/18...lder-P886.aspx

Place the battery holder in a PVC Tube that runs from pommel to the free floating LED unit from US, so the LED unit cannot move down inside the hilt upon vertical impact.
I slide a bit of the PVC pipe out of the hilt bottom upon unscrewing the pommel to access the rechargeble 3.7 battery and off on switch.

The reason for this is, i keep breaking the standard plastic guarded latching switch: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/SP...tton-P255.aspx

I do alot of spinning and my sabers often fall on the ground hitting the guarded section resulting in shattered plastic. I tried my best to find a more durable solution, but it seems the only option i have are momentairy switches which require a switching board. http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/16...itch-P714.aspx

I do not care about the LED light on these switches i only care they are made of alloy vs plastic, i understood that both the 12 and 16 mm do not fit in the milled standard hole by US anyway.

So my question is what would be the best possible way for me to create a very simple electronic design and have a durable switch button? my sabers get a serious amount of beating. I am no saber smith and don`t have alot of tools such as dremmels etc so thats why i mainly got the option to go for a PCV pipe chassis.
