    You can get brass tubes in shapes other than round.

    Great saber, Do-Clo! I think the choke in the middle is my favorite part.

    I wanted to use reeded brass but considered roped as well. Clean looking, nice job.

    I didn't think you could use so much power with a US2.5. Mine was over heating at 6V. Can I ask you did that? I'm guessing some type of resistor or voltage regulator.

    A lux 5 runs at a higher voltage than the lux 3 so 7.4 volts is not a problem
