Thread: My first saber build (Sith styled)

Default My first saber build (Sith styled)

This is my first lightsaber build. I decided to go with a Sith inspired look. One of the designs is a modified Sith symbol I found somewhere on the internet. The saber is made from a sink tube and PVC pipe with fittings. I used buttons from an HP printer near the emmitter epoxied to the PVC. The pommel is a PVC fitting with an old flashlight piece and the switch in the center. Please let me know what you think.

That is one awesome first saber! Well done!
Not a big fan of the threads showing at the emitter, but the overlay on the grip is amazing! Nice dremel work on that one.

    Btw, does it have light/sound?

It has light but no sound. Went with the Luxeon III Red/Orange kit.

i kind of like the thread look, gives it a menacing, rough look to it. Cheers on a great saber...what is the red material made out of? Sink tube or PVC?

    Great first hilt!
The overlays really give it some character!

I have seen a great variety of pvc and pvc based sabers and most imo have been kinda eh. But this dude here with the level of detail used is pretty freakin awsome!
    Nice work man!

Great job on the sith symbol overlay. You have got some serious dremel-fu skills. I'll be keeping an eye on your future builds.
