Here is the Luke ANH with a blade on it.
Here it is next to this 'other' saber I had laying around. This shows the scale of the saber.
The blade is too heavy for the saber as is. I will look into tubing next, instead of a solid rod. The clamp isn't quite solid enough either. But as a proof of concept, I would call it a victory!
