Default Jay-gon Jinn's Chrome Saber 21 (MR sound w/ 3W) Video Build Log

Like the title says, I built a saber using MHS parts and video recorded myself doing it! (Well, 99% of it anyway).

This saber will be fairly straight forward....nothing too fancy:

This one will feature an MR FX Jedi soundboard, either a green P4 or bin 4 green Luxeon III led, 5 deg optics, a green illuminated A/V switch, a custom chrome pommel insert (seen as the bathtub strainer ), a premium 1 watt, 8 ohm speaker, a TCSS speaker mount v2, a silver machined CT belt clip wheel, and will be constructed using MHS parts and a 12" chrome sink tube (not pictured). Blade type will be a standard Dual-Core Diffusion 36" thin-walled polycarbonate with a rounded tip.

Here's the first few parts of the video series:

I actually video taped myself making a mistake Saturday....I'm not sure I want to post it or not...but you know me, I probably will, as what not to do. See if you can spot it in Part 16, but for now, here's part 15:

    and part 16:

Did you catch my mistake? :

About all that is left to do is put batteries in it to test it out before final assembly can begin! Oh, and I need to solder up the led for it, too. I'll also have to drill and tap for the 10-32 blade set screw, as well.

Reminds me of the one I'm rebuilding, with a couple differences.

But that's pretty awesome. I dig that grip area. =)
