Thread: What happened to the Lightsaber Archives?

Default What happened to the Lightsaber Archives?

Today I visited the Lightsaber Archives (http://www.lightsaberarchives.org/), and to my surprise and alarm got a "Forbidden--You don't have permission to access / on this server" error. Even the Google cache pages are blank. Did they get shut down by Lucasfilms? The site was working fine just a few days ago. I've found their Saberwiki to be an invaluable reference. It would be a major bummer if they are gone for good.

From Wikipedia: "Internet Explorer slows down GIFs if the framerate is 20 frames per second or higher and Microsoft reports that Google Chrome and Safari also slow down some GIF animations."

I'm noticing that everyone who has posted in this thread as not having access (this includes me) in not USA/America based. Maybe it's a continental server issue. If there is such a thing...
Obi-Wan: "If you spent as much time practicing your saber techniques as you did your wit, you'd rival Master Yoda as a swordsman"

    Anakin: " I thought I already did"

Obi-Wan: "Only in your mind, my very young apprentice"

Yeah, I'm still getting the "forbidden" message, and, yes, I'm accessing from Japan. Why on Earth would they suddenly decide to restrict access to the U.S.? Are any of the people working on that project members here?
