I'd like to see the style 13 blade holder altered slightly to omit the sunken channels in place of raised.

I think it would be a handsome addition to the MHS parts inventory.

Two things:
First, this kind of thing would go in the "wish list" thread...

Secondly, Tim is really good at custom machining already in stock pieces so if you really wanted that- You could pay a little more and have it made for you.

Tim only removes material from stock parts to make them more "custom" ones. Once that material's gone, he can't add it back, obviously.

This would it require being machined differently from the start. To machine off less material from the blade holder in the first place.

Tim doesn't do scratch built custom parts any more, but he can modify existing MHS parts to make what you need. He could probably start with the basic blank blade holder #2 and whittle it down to look like that. The best way to know for sure is to send him an e-mail at sales@thecustomsabershop.com

It would require making an entirely new blade holder from scratch as it would be a larger diameter than the typical MHS part. Could you just put some o-rings in the grooves to acheive the desired look?

He might want those ridges to be aluminum though, not yellow O-rings. I'm not aware of there being silver O-rings anywhere.

Or he can just say "never mind" and put O-rings on it anyway.
