Question about the quickchange
Hey i searched the thread index and the rest of the forum for this and i couldnt find it anywhere, so i need to know... When using the quickchange kit, do you need to buy a new lens and collimator for each LED? or can you use the same one? i want to take advantage of the firebird birthday discount, but dont know if i need the lens and collimator for the second led.

No you shouldn't.
The lens only sits on the LED it does not attach to it.
You'l just swap out the Heat-synk with the LED attached, rather than disconecting the LED from the H/S which could end up damaging the LED, or the Plastic screws.
Edit: But you could get a spare. One 5* and one 10* to see which one you like better...

so the heatsink comes with the emitter? do i have to order a second heatsink? does it come with the LED? god i'm so confused lol. Help me firebird, you're my only hope.

I don't think the new emitters come with the H/S, but I may be wrong...
The H/S does not come with the LED.

well i order the MHS yesterday, with emitter #4 i believe, the slotted one J-Lo got. Got it with a blue LED. since you've graced us with ten percent off, i wanted to get a green one to quickchange with. In my cart currently is the LED, another quick connect cable and the new covertech but that has nothing to do with.

I know I wasnt clear on the pictures..All LED blade holders come with a heatsink..white screws..allen wrench.
