Thread: era-specific sabers

  1. #1

    Default era-specific sabers

how about doing some sabers that are representative of an era in human history the maker wishes to reproduce?

Like the dawn of the industrial age or Civil War era made to look like over or under engineered cast iron with brass fittings and screws?

Or maybe a Romanesque saber with silvers and golds with very ornate etchings?

Or a WWII era one that's painted olive green and have yellow stenciling on it in places.

These threads I'm making are just me trying to provide some imagination fodder for someone with the means to do a number of them or if they wanted to, a single one of their favorite era or science fiction universe.

'Industrial style'? Surely you mean steampunk?

WWII/ Camo effect was done by Shadow, though I can't find the pic at the mo.

This is a good idea collating them al together, though it'll take a while if you're up to the task.
