    Default Sol's Bane (Amber Lux3)

    Another TCSS only build, this one being known as Sol's Bane.

    She sports an Amber Lux3 LED w/ 5* Lens, resistor installed @ 1.5ohm/5w, with a TCSS Blade Holder/Emitter (style #3), Hilt with standard hole (style #3), Pommel (style #5), and MHS Ribbed Extension. Powered by 4AA (4.8v) batteries and presented with a lathe sanded 1/8in SaberForge Heavy Blade. Overall length is 41.5in, hilt comes in at 13.5in.

    Long saber.

    Blade's not too evenly lit. I'd through some polypro wrap in that sucker.

    yeah thats a dim blade. hilt looks good though.

    I use saberforge's blades. I just slide in Tim's diffuser and it looks fine to me.

    use TCSS special white blade made my amber lux 3 look great

    nice saber but the hilt is too long for my taste but still a good lookin saber

    I use the SaberForge Heavy Blade purely for beating the sticks around. I will be picking up a set of UltraEdge blades for show purposes. I am sure they will brighten up the color without a hitch.

    Went with a longer hilt on this, my 5th saber, just for the feel of a good 2-hander. I find it's not all that long since most of the hilts I tend to 'mock up' are about 12in in any case.

    And the carpet info was just to be completely detailed and factual. :P

    Nice hilt, I personally prefer longer sabers. Great job. (I have the same exact rug too.)
