Hi All, I'm glad I found you! And happy to be here. As any newb, I have a question. It appears I have a MR 2002 Anakin AOTC that was presented to me by my daughters boyfriend. He has had it since then and it has suffered a little damage. Primarily he let the batteries corrode in it. I have cleaned the contacts, I still have no continuity. I fear the corrosion has gotten into the wiring. After reading here that these were kinda rare, and not wanting to damage it further, I was looking for how to disassemble it. I saw nothing in your threads to this point on how to do this. Could someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks Alot!

Welcome to the forums.

Not a lot of people take that saber apart. There's no conversion kit for it in the Store, and it's an older EL saber.

I know there are probably a few who have actually managed to convert one of these to LED, so maybe someone will chime in with how to disassemble it.
