That is pretty sweet. I would definitely build a saber for my mom too if she wanted...alas, she is not a fan.
I have a son that is into it though and he is begging for a saber, but it would still be coming out of my pocket so it will have to wait. lol

heh, looks like our parents are the polar opposite. My mom is the one that got me into Muay-Thai, and Star Wars, thus creating an interest in Mixed Martial Arts and my further interest in SW. I love that saber set up. I'm actually working on a saber using those exact parts, though the switch will be 'different'...
