    Default Charis Saber

This is a new saber I just finished, it has custom brass overlays, hand cut and polished. The rest of the hilt is polishede aluminum. The saber has a green lux 5 with a ultra sound 2.5 sound board and a 7.4 lithium ion battery pack and a lighted pommel. The blade is a 36 inch long Do-Clo EX blade.

Very nice saber Don. I love the overlay on the grip area.

Nice hilt Don. The twisted brass look is pretty cool.

Wow. And I don't mean World of Warcraft. That brass overlay literally made my jaw drop. That is a very beautiful saber.

    Thumbs up

I gotta say that twisted brass grip certainly meets the whole "elegant weapon for a more civilized age"... VERY VERY nice work!! How did you do the grip part? I wouldn't even know where to start to make something like that... slowly rotating lathe?

Cool...best one I've seen you do yet. Of course brass helps win me over too.
I wanted to use reeded brass but considered roped as well. Clean looking, nice job.

I didn't think you could use so much power with a US2.5. Mine was over heating at 6V. Can I ask you did that? I'm guessing some type of resistor or voltage regulator.
