Is what good or bad? If you mean how much a red can take it just means a 3W Red maxed out is on par with a 5W. It's just a cruddy fact that it's a waste to make seperate drivers for each color.

No it's not bad really. It just means Corbin's board is only giving it half of what it can take. Meaning it can be twice as bright. If you want all the features of his board then go with it, but if you want a freakin' bright saber go another way that will really juice all that's capable out of it.

I say get a Yausa 12 volt 100Ahr battery and no resistor and you will have a wicked bright Red saber...

Corbin has only posted a schematic for an Anakin board. Obviously the more "evil" sounding one would be any of the "sith" ones like the Vader. You'd have to ask corbin for a diagram for that one.
Also... I can tell you haven't read nearly enough if you think you'll need a resistor while using Corbin's board.[]

The anakin sound board wires the same as the vader sound board the only difference is the sound.
