Thread: Another concept

    Default Another concept

This is just a first thought, I am a bit concerned about the blade holder. I am wondering how the blades hold in this certain one I mean with this one it looks like it would be more prone to slipping out or being loose. So if anyone who has used this holder would help in clearing up my concerns. Thanks

It holds the blade just fine.

I have that blade holder on one of my sabers and I've never had any problems dueling with it.

I have used several of those types and have never had any problems with them.

I wonder, if it's as tightly machined as other MHS Bladeholders normally are, whether it might even be more secure from 'slippage' since it would be putting pressure on the blade at four separate contact points plus the setscrew?

No, If Im not mistaken, that particular blade holder is deeper than others, and Im sureTim took that question into account. But still a very validquestion though. But I do not think that you will have any problems from unless you want to chop your christmas tree down with your saber.

    Yes, it is.

You are mistaken. It's the same depth as the other blade holders. Does it look any deeper? No, it doesn't. If it looks deeper to you, then it must be an optical illusion due to it's narrowness.

I believe it's the same blade holder as this, but with the four cut outs done to it.
