Anyone done a blade using the P7 yet. Seems like 900 lumens would be pretty sweet. Looking for ideas on how to wire it up since the p7 runs at 2800 mah. I was thinking of two power supplies...

If your thinking of doing this you should have a good read through that whole thread, I never got to put sound in mine cuse I got alot better results from led strings http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...t=4921&page=12 and the P7 really washes out any color disks you use so I gave it up... not to say I wont revisit this progect later.
Also remember that its 900 lumens out of the emiter so it's difused along the length of the blade but still the crazyest white blade I've ever seen!
Do-Clo gets the props for completing the first one good job Do-Clo!

P7s are insane. i cant wait to do one. dont they come on PCBs now?
the only three problems i can think of are power requirements, cooling and the optics. trust me though 900 lumens is brighter than the friggin sun.
seriously look at my sig. thats a 600 lumen green 10 watt LED and thats with the batteries half depleted. and it was bright.
the seoul P4s are really cool and plenty bright 240 lumens. and i hear Cree LEDs have a new white that runs of same power requirments ad P4 and puts out about 320 lumens if im correct?
Sounds like a hyperblades solution would be better. Anyone dealt with them?
