A quick Google search turned up this:

    http://skycraftsurplus.com/drillpres...abledrill.aspx

I have something similar. Pretty cheap way to do it without buying a full sized drill press.

Hmm. Interesting, I've never seen anything like that before.

I'm having a little trouble envisioning exactly how it works, though.

You just clamp your portable drill into it. It's a little awkward, and it takes some patience to set it up so it drills straight, but it works.

I just scooped this off someone's website. Same idea.

Of course it is. She has been around here for a while. But I think I agree with what fender said to you. Try Ebay for a premade saber that dosent require you to do any work, unless you want to actually try building your own unique saber that YOU came up with to impress us all.

Heh, Skycraft is the bomb. That store is in Orlando, and we went there about twice a week for misc. stuff. I sure do miss having that store around They had the craziest surplus stuff in there, and the building itself has a rocket and a flying saucer on top Heat shrink was $.88 for 4ft! in all sorts of sizes. LEDs bezels (where I got all my antique brass lamp bezels) *sigh* I'll miss it.......

For the $30 you'll spend on that, plus if you don't already have a good drill you'll have to buy that too. You could buy a used REAL drill press or go to Home Depot and get one of the cheap $100 new Ryobi or Rigid ones.

If you're new, please take the time we all consider just as precious as you and READ!

I would have a real drill press in a heartbeat, but I don't have a shop to set up in. The mini-drill press can be tucked away under a shelf in my shed.
