Doppelganger

This is the 4th hilt I decided to build but the second completed.

This one I can't take credit for the design though. I saw a hilt called "Jaded" over at Parks and I really liked the basic design so I decided to see if I couldn't create a look-alike using MHS parts. I've named this hilt "Doppelganger" for obvious reasons. I did add a couple of my own touches however including o-ring grips and my first use of a Graflex clamp.

I'm quite pleased with the results. A pretty basic hilt I suppose

I haven't yet decided what guts are going to go into it yet at all. I'm open to suggestions on blade color and LED type etc.

That's the canon Mara Jade Skywalker hilt. It's known throughout geekdom to have a purple blade. Look up "Mara Jade" or "Mare Jade Lightsaber", and you should get plenty of example pics.

Nice! Replicated a canon saber without knowing it, fantastic!
Sure you could go with the purple, I think an amber or yellow would suit this one nicely too.

Looks real good with a full clamp.

Personally I think that hilt looks good in a blue or a green, but a red-o would be very sinister.

okay go adegan silver. try the new cree white thats supposedly brighter than the P4.
