    Has anyone tried to make their own MR sound modules?

    There is very little to them it seems.

    Just a few components. Need to match the transistors though.

    Can etch your own circuit board.

    Don't think you could sale them due to copyright infringement but nothing saying you can't make them for yourself...or say...gifts to other friends who just so happens to make sabers too.

    If you have the know how to program chips and think you can do it less that $45... by all means do it.

    Well...been along time since I've done that sort of thing...but yes...I use to. It's assembly language....not difficult to learn. I have a friend who's an engineer too. I am sure he can help with that.
