Thread: No clash sensor??

  1. #1

    Default No clash sensor??

What happens when you don't have a clash sensor on a MR soundboard?
Does the scrolling effects and the idle hum work fine without it?
or does the board not work at all without it?

That would be kind of sad not to have the clash sounds, especially if it's a Jedi board.

With a Sith board......maybe not so much.

If the switch broke put another one on. To look one up i think they are called momentary inertia switches.

To be more specific, they are SW-18020P clash sensors... The MR ones are Yusan, but that is a universal part number. You can only buy them in batches of like 1000 though, so it's a moot point.

Buy a cheap Hasbro toy saber (with sound, of course) and take it from there. People do it all the time.

I'm surprised nobody suggested it here.

This looks like it could work. Compare specs to the original.

Searched google for axial lead shock switch accelerometer sensor.

the lack of a clash sensor might be convenient in a spinning saber. Every time i see somebody spinning they stop their saber too quickly, triggering the clash. It kinda ruins the effect
