Yes, it does have AAA's in it. It has a standard 4-AAA battery holder with 4 AAA Tengery 1000ma NiMH rechargeable batteries in it. I like to use those instead of hardwired battery packs, because then you change the batteries out for fresh ones, and recharge the other set and keep on using your saber.Originally Posted by Crystal Chambers

Well, technically, you can recharge the batteries in the saber, with the right charger and adapter wire like the ones Tim sells in the store, so I'd say you are more right than wrongOk, so we were both sort of right.

why didn't i think of the jewl pommel thing when i designed my saber?

Not to say that this doesn't look great...it's rill purdy, but it makes me wonder how a design like this might look with the MHS parts getting some media blast and then shiny chrome overlays on it.
