Must be 4 AAAs. What's the run time like on it?
Yes, it does have AAA's in it. It has a standard 4-AAA battery holder with 4 AAA Tengery 1000ma NiMH rechargeable batteries in it. I like to use those instead of hardwired battery packs, because then you change the batteries out for fresh ones, and recharge the other set and keep on using your saber.

Run time should be about an hour on these, give or take 5-10 minutes.

Ok, so we were both sort of right.

Except where I said it would be hard to change the batteries in that saber.

And he's only using a recharge port as a kill key.

So it sounds like I was mostly wrong.

    Oh well.

Wow. I have to say this is by-far the most outstanding saber you have done. Easily...hands-down. This one is absolutely stunning.

    Very nice.
    I like it a lot.
Could be cool to brass the overlays, just to mess with the color scheme a bit.
Though it wouldn't be a Chrome saber, I guess.

Well, technically, you can recharge the batteries in the saber, with the right charger and adapter wire like the ones Tim sells in the store, so I'd say you are more right than wrong

Not to say that this doesn't look great...it's rill purdy, but it makes me wonder how a design like this might look with the MHS parts getting some media blast and then shiny chrome overlays on it.
