    Default Custom Machined Saber with CF 3.1 Finally Finished!

    Here it is, the first saber I have completely custom machined myself. Here's the specs:

    • CF 3.1
    • Aluminum and SS body
    • Powder coat accents
    • 7.2V 2600 mah Li-ion batteries
    • Green K2

    what did you use for mounting the LED segment display?
    I'm not quite sure what you mean by "mounting" it. Basically I cut a rectangular hole for it, (which was hard, because the control collar was SS) and it was tight enough to hold it in pretty good. Since the edges of the hole were a little rough, I cut a piece of sink tube to go around the bargraph and powder coated it. I JB-welded that down. So between the tight SS, the tight sinktube, and the JB-weld, I think it's in there pretty good! (anyway it doesn't move around at all.) I hope that answers your question.
