I am an Energy Analyst at the 3rd largest College in Georgia. Don't ask me what an energy analyst does, it is so top secret that even I don't know. LOL Other than that I make lightsabers and other sci-Fi prop parts.

Well, since this thread has been resurrected, and I'm new here, I'll put in my 2 cents. I'm sure there's a lot of people who joined after 11/2006 (last time this thread was active) who haven't contributed.

Pizza delivery before that while going to school.

Hey Rhyen, have you ever built any Ghostbusters props? I almost got into that last year for Holloween and that's how I stumbled upon lightsaber building and thought lightsabers were so much cooler.

I'm a Professor teaching Business Law at Full Sail University in Orlando, FL and I'm an attorney as well for the last 12 years.

Been a Star Wars fan since I was 8 years old in 1977 but never really got into the fan things beyond reading the novels and watching the movies. Stumbled into reading about creating lightsabers and now I have 1 done, 1 almost done and the pieces for a third waiting to get crafted and assembled.

A few of you know this already, but I work with special needs adults and children. I work as a job coach, mentor, advocate and friend for these individuals. I help them perform tasks that they would otherwise not be able to accomplish and I expose them to the community at large.

I am working on helping one of my clients, a 48 year old man with Downs Syndrome, to learn how to live on his own. He currently lives with his elderly mother.

I've also posted pictures of one of my other clients enjoying Star Wars night a local AAA baseball game.

Currently I'm working as an animator. But since I'm a freelancer I bounce back and forth between animator and 3D modeler.

    Okay, my turn.

My 1st taste of a real job was in high school where in the UK, we had a 1 or 2 week program called work experience. So for my experience I was sent to a local dealership garage called Enterprise. Being a huge Star Trek fan, you can imagine how much I was teased by my classmates about that.

After I graduated I went on to study basic engineering where I learned all the skills shown on the A-Team. (Welding, fabrication, milling, lathes,a little blacksmithing, electronics, technical drafting.) After graduation:

factory job cleaning up and leak testing aluminum parts for Lamborghini.
Machinist for a small engineering company.
Made floor pan carpets for Ford.
    Propulsion Mechanic for the RAF.
I almost made team leader when I left the RAF and went to work for Denso UK but I moved to the US.
my 1st job in the US was as a fork lift driver transporting Ball canning jars around the plant.
Road Maintenance Coordinator ( AAA for Celadon trucks, all 1500 across the US and only 2 of us at night to help)
    City Park maintenance.
Plastic Molding Specialist for Valeo making headlight assemblies for GM, Chrysler, Toyota, Ford and Honda.
mold setter at a plant making trim panels for Suberu
Freelance graphic designer for Jenn Entertainment. 2D, 3D, whatever, I love it.
    and thats about it.

Currently I'm unemployed and still thinking of going to Full Sail in Orlando FL for animation, or the DAVE School also in Orlando FL simply because I use Lightwave which is what the DAVE school uses.
