Dark Sohryu

Hello all! Here's our latest saber.

The base hilt is MHS and the double-overlays were cut from 1.5 inch sinktubes. The MHS pieces were Powdercoated with "Black Magic", the Main Shroud was PC'd with "Black Lava" and the secondary shroud was PC'd with "Jollipop Orange" (sort of a dark translucent copper). The shrouds are held on by black 4-40 screws.

The saber is running an MR Obi-Wan ROTS Master Replica's board with powers both the Main LED (Blue P4) and the UltraBrite accent LED. The crystal is a real quartz crystal provided by Sohryu76. The Crystal chamber hides behind the secondary shroud which can be easily removed, giving the saber a very different look. This saber also feature LDM's "reverse sound". The speaker is mounted under the crystal chamber and is pointed toward the emitter. This allows for a louder, crisper sound. Thanks for that, LDM!!!
