Thread: 1.25 Sink Tube BH

  1. #1

    Question 1.25 Sink Tube BH

How does the Sink Tube BH attach to a sink tube? I've looked for pics, or descriptions of this item being used, no luck. My thought is that; two nylon screws for LED, 1 set screw for blade, 4 set screws for LED holder, and the button cap screws to hold the BH to the sink tube by way of drilling holes in the sink tube. Thx

I haven't used one of those, but it sounds right to me.

Maybe someone who has used one will chime in.

The BH slides into a 22 gauge sinktube and then is secured by 2 8-32 screws near the bottom.

The hole at the top is for the blade retention screw- it helps to stablize the blade holder as well.

The two nylon screws hold the LED star in place.

The Four set screws hold the heatsink in place (though I use Lock-tight as well)
Got a Question? There's a thread for that...

Which requires two holes to be drilled in the sink tube, correct?

Look trough the A to Z Build Threads section, I have a couple topics in there that utilize that blade holder and show how to install it.

    EDIT:
Actually, it's really just this one:

Why does that sound like a Monkey Island reference to me?
