Thread: dual switch hole distances

    Default dual switch hole distances

If one wanted to have dual holes pre-drilled for two switches mounted one behind another on a MHS hilt or df section how close together can the holes be drilled? I'm guessing there needs to be a certain minimum amount of distance between them for structural integrity but how much?

Also with the guarded switches and antivandal switches that have a nut on the inside that might be a factor?

And maybe the AV switch bezels might need to be mounted a certain distance apart too?

What I'm basicly trying to figure out is how much space it takes to mount two matched switches as closely together as practical without actually touching - of the regular [with 2 silver TCSS nuts], guarded, and AV [with 2 TCSS bezels] kinds.

Just let tim know what two types of switches you will use and he will probably firgure it out. All you have to do with any custom work is communicate with him and he will let you know if/how it can be done.
