Cool design, but do you realize that it will be at least 15-16" long? Long sabers can be cool and give great holding power while dueling, but they sure are heavy on your belt and tend to swing more when you move (make sure you wear a cup). Another positive is that there will be plenty of room for electronics. I like the look of the polished aluminium, but I would break up the monotony with some powdercoating to create depth or use O-rings between the sections to create a finished look. If you want to use some of the TCSS speaker/battery combo mounts, you will have trouble since the ribbed sections have a smaller inner diameter than the double female extensions. If so, you might think about switching the pommel-end ribbed section for something like this

or maybe a longer or shorter version. Also think about how you will mount it to your belt (where to put Covertec wheel or D-ring, etc).
Still, I very much like the simplicity and the use of the #2 blade holder. The simple blade holders aren't used enough.

Its not that long! its only about 12"-13". Im working on a similar saber but with the ribbed extensions.

But Hideous is right about the speaker mount, they wont fit in ribbed/v-grooved sections. I had to dremel my speaker mount so it would fit in.
