    Another quick update:

    Cover is on.

Still need to put the grip material on for the mid section and then start using my dremel to fix some things on it and she should be done!

Ok, so I thought about a few things and have some more ideas (of course, lol).

For the top cover, I'm going to shorten the sides so that you get a .5 inch gap (probably smaller on either side) to see through in. Going to somehow try and mount the impact sensor (got the replacement, THANKS AMBO) with a bit of velcro..just enough so it doesn't show but sits in place as to not fall out the side..or just somehow wrap wiring around a rod or something, we'll see.

Anywho, for the interior guts, thinking about drilling a small hole in the center of the heat sink, and then threading a rod in there. Attach that rod to a crystal chasis I am working on, and then tap the + and - leads on the LED end to power up the super bright LED which is sitting inside a red acrylic crystal I melted out the of.

    Hmmmmmmmmm.

    Updates!

    - Added grips (pleather_
    - Added crystal chamber w/red LED backlighting (weak but does the trick)
    - Finished blade
    - Did some more cutting, sanding, etc

    To do:
    - Some etching
    - New 8-32 button head screw in place of the black one up top (not big enough and the holder keeps moving all over)
    - Find a sith to smack around
    - Lost my switch cover *tear*

    Crystal chamber:

    Underside grip:
