    Default My Jedi costume

This is my first non-Halloween costume. Thought I would post it and see what every one thinks.

New Republic Jedi? That's the style belt you have. Your belt needs to be tighter so it doesn't sag from the weight of your lightsaber.

I don't think the khaki pants work well with all those dark colors. Black or brown would look better, IMO. The light inner tunic does look fine, to me.

i like the unconventional colors, alot of people use the generic movie colors for outfit setups and that can be a little tiring. I actually like the khaki pants, if it was my costume the only thing i would have different is change the brown cloth to more khaki. Good work on your duds man. looks great

i like the entire costume except for the cloak.... the hood needs to be WAY bigger and also lower to your feet... mine is about 1/2" off the floor.

You're right, the robe is a little short.

I like mine about 2" from the floor, so I don't step or trip on it on stairs or escalators.

    Looks good, well done!

I agree with J-Lo about the belt though, maybe give it another notch

Maybe he's a gunslinging Jedi and likes the low ride? lol

Nice costume. I like the colors, and the contrast from dark to light from top to bottom is well done.

A few minor tweaks, and you got a RL worthy Jedi.

    Great job.

Very nice outfit! The pants do look a bit out of place with the colors, but if you like them, then that's all that matters. With the undertunic looking white, maybe you could find some off white khaki's to use to match it? I found some at Wal-Mart that I use with one of the variations for my outfit.

I have to say, that belt is pretty awesome, though it really should be tighter.
The pants aren't too bad IMO, but each to their own.
I've never been a fan of all robes hanging ground level, so slightly higher is fine...

Thanks for all the feed back, guys.
I tightened the belt right after I saw the pics, LOL, so no problem there.
I'm glade it was obvious that I was a New Republic Jedi.

And, just for the record, the robes not short, I'm just tall
Actually I've never been real happy with the robe. I got it from Jedi-robe.com. I don't think the hood is deep enough.

I'll play around with the pant colour and see what works

    thanks again
