Default 53'' maul style lightsabers popping up?

Hey all..been seeing these all over ebay lately:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:X:RTQ:US:1123

Anyone ever see one in action?
Wishing there was a video somewhere of it in action...was thinking about getting one and gutting it for sound.

the guy said that each blade has 20 leds. so im thinkin it's a low quality led strip ... BUT... i think there are led drivers, sound drivers battery holder+battery, switches, blade and hilt. And its a maul style so you get two of everything... the blade are kind of short 26.5 but i think its worth the price...

I'll post pictures here as soon as i get the lightsaber!

You don't need a driver for a short LED ladder like that, those sabers have to be very cheaply made. It's probably just an LED ladder with all the LEDs soldered to one another. I have experience fixing a lot of cheapy single bladed sabers similar to those. I've seen about every conceivable way they can break and/or fail.

The sound board is probably very cheap and basic too. I don't imagine they'd have that many sounds. They've got to be cheaper than a Hasbro saber, probably with cheap crappy speakers.

I suppose they are worth a look, for the price.

But don't be too disappointed of the parts aren't that usable for out type of sabers we make here.

I'm thinking the only good thing will be the hilt, that is if it's any good at all...

Yeah, the cheap, plastic hilt is gonna be great!

As long as the hilt is large enough and strong enough, yes it could easily be converted.
