    Have you tried to solder a wire to the can of the bad 1 you have?

    I'm afraid that little wire was part of the spring....I had one break off as well, and cracked open the sensor out of curiosity. The clash sensor from the Hasbro QG board will work fine, i've used one before on an MR board myself.

    One more question....

    How do I know which side to solder the gray wire to on the new clash sensor?

    Doesn't matter, the impact sensor is like a momentary switch, it just makes contact internally to send a voltage to the board so it knows that it has been activated.

    got it all finished up....clash sensor doesn't seem to be working though....I don't have the nrg to take it all apart again right now. it's gonna have to live without clash sounds for now.
