    Hey, just wanted to put this up. I will be converting it soon.

    That's an awfully big box to send a saber in.

    I knew the maker of this saber (I hope he's not the one who did the crappy soldering job though!), but he's been out business for 5 years, so I've forgotten his name, that info's on my old computer. Probably nobody here has heard of him, anyway.

    Yeah, it's a USPS "Medium Flat Rate Box"
    Hurts the wallet a bit... But at the price I got the EL saber, well worth it.

    very nice... i think ive seen that design somewhere before too bad about the threads.. thats gonna need a patch job and it isnt an easy fix..

    Nah, just will treat the two black parts as one, never taking them apart again. No big deal.

    Nope, essentially the same. Except for the emitter section where the thumbscrew is. It's pretty hefty there!

    hopefully you can fit everything you need in there. are you going to make a chassis?, i mean what are the planned additions to the conversion?
