Thread: Jay-gon Jinn's Chrome Saber 15

  1. #1

    Default Jay-gon Jinn's Chrome Saber 15

This one took some time to complete, as I was waiting for a proper soundboard for it. I picked up an Ultrasound 2.1 for it from a member of the FX-Sabers forums, so I wired it up this morning. Here's how it turned out:

The led is a bin 6 Amber Luxeon III. It is powered by two Li-Ion Trustfire batteries. Blade is a white polycarbonate. I scuffed it up a bit to make it look it was a well-used, but well-maintained saber, not really weathered.

I think this is my favorite among your sabers. Very clean hilt. That "floating" bit of overlay by the choke is really nice too.

Would you Want to explain how you got the "floating" piece secure?
    Did you use epoxy?

Beautiful. That new style blade holder is nice to look at and it looks great with the hilt body you've constructed.

Very nice saber Jay-Gon. I have a saber in the works with that blade holder and a similar paint scheme... that BH is difficult to paint, well done

That turned out great. I just received that blade holder powder coated in that exact paint scheme from Tim the other day. http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com...?t=4330&page=2 That looks really sharp. Great job!
