Too many choke style 1 lengths...

This MHS design uses the 'normal' length for choke style 1:



But I have also tried it with the 'short' version, and I almost like that one better...

So, (a) does anyone like my design? And (b) would it look better with the short choke?

For me it depends on the design, for example on the saber in my sig I tried all the chokes but I felt the regular style 1 choke with custom cuts looked best for that saber. Just do what feels best to you.

Your design is very good, The choke is your choice and sarcasm aside from your last post, it is your personal choice in the matter.

Firstly, I love that design... Definitely worth the money!

Chokewise: I would use a style 3 choke. IMO it make the saber flow more.

While style 3 is my favorite choke (I used it in my first MHS build), I don't feel it works in this design. What I like about this one is that all the size transitions (front of emitter, choke, pommel) are 45 degree cones.

It comes down to a choice between the regular and short type 1 choke. At the moment, the short is in stock and the regular is not, so that may be the way the decision process goes.

Then again, I will probably not order the parts until after GenCon, by which time the stock may have changed...
